Perch started in 2022 at a physical therapy front desk in Portland, where booking one new patient took four emails and a sticky note.
Our founder, Hannah Kerr, ran the front desk at a four-clinician physio practice. Every scheduling tool she tried was built for one person with one calendar, not a team sharing patients.
Perch was built for the way small teams actually book: several calendars, a front desk in the middle, visits that belong with a particular person and clients who forget.
Today about 2,300 teams use Perch, most of them with fewer than 20 people. We are 14 people ourselves, and we still answer support in the afternoons.
